Kid selfies

Cooper has been taking a lot of selfies ever since he figured out how to take a picture and put it in the corner like a stamp or something. I still have no idea how he does it, but he does.

And so has Mason......

And so has Shiloh......

Seriously, I could post 100 selfie pictures every month of these kids.

Cooper earned his bobcat award

/Mason and Cooper going to their first den meetings together. Mason's first one as a Webelo and Cooper's first one as a Wolf. (9/10/2015)

Mason and Cooper all ready for their first pack meeting together. Mason is now a Webelo and Cooper a Wolf. (9/24/2015)

Cooper earned his first award as a cub scout, his Bobcat badge.

In our pack, we put the Bobcat on them right side up while they are hung upside down. Once they are turned right side up, their badge is upside down. In order to get their badge turn right side up permanently, they have go do a good turn (act of service).

First Day of School

Shiloh has a preschool open house on September 2nd to meet her teacher (Mrs. Sunnie) and see her classroom.

School started on September  8th for Mason and Cooper
Mason is in 5th grade this year and has Mrs. Layton for his teacher.

Cooper is in third grade and has Mrs. Nendel for his teacher.

Two cute girls needed in on the picture taking action as well.

Shiloh's first day of preschool was on September 9th.

I took this picture just before leaving the room. The look on her face was like, really mom! Get outa here so I can be with my friends, I don't need you anymore.

Cooper and Kinley's birthday celebration

Cooper got his own set of scriptures for his birthday. The mail carrier thought it would be a great idea to put them in our mail box instead of the bigger mail slot that is meant for packages. The problem with this is that the actual slot is bigger than the opening. We got smart though and grabbed a butter knife to hold down the top flaps. Finally came out. Gotta love smart people.

Immediately following Cooper's baptism, our family came back to our house for cake and ice cream for Cooper (8) and Kinley's (3) birthdays. We didn't do a friend party for Cooper this year (fail). We had enough to do between Mason's birthday July 15th, Cooper's birthday August 12th, Cooper's baptism August 22nd, and Kinley's birthday August 23rd.

Cooper's baptism

Cooper was baptized a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints last night. We were blessed to have a lot of family and friends there to support him in his decision. We are so very proud of the young man he is becoming and look forward to watching him as he continues to grow up and grow closer to his Savior.

Day Camp

Day camp this year was fun. It was great to go and see Mason and Cooper there together. This was Mason's last year attending and Cooper's first year. I am horrible at taking pictures, so this is all you get. Picture taking is something Jeff always remembers to do, I wish I was more like him in that area.
