What better way to spend the morning of our 11th Anniversary than sledding with the kids! Mason and Cooper loved it, Shiloh not so much, and Kinley I am not sure if she liked it or just tolerated it because she had to.

Anniversary Trip
Last weekend Jeff and I went to Leavenworth for our 9th Anniversary. Julia and Bill kept our kids for the weekend. Before dropping them off, I had to get a picture with my little missy.
We stayed at a bed and breakfast called Pine River Ranch. It was about 20 miles west of Leavenworth.
Pictures of the room....
The outside of our cabin.
Can I take him home? Please?
LOVE this sign!
Pictures of some of the stores in Leavenworth.
Saturday morning we decided to give snow shoeing a try. It was very tiring. I don't think I'll be attempting that one again. But the scenery was beautiful.
The next two pictures are of the scenery on our way from the bed and breakfast to Leavenworth.
I drove just one time from the b&b to Leavenworth.
Jeff, scarred out of his mind by my mad driving skills.
These last two pictures are from our way back home.
The lake iced over. What lake you ask? I don't know. Just a lake.

Our Anniversary
This past Tuesday was Jeff and my 8th wedding anniversary. We started a new tradition this year. I made a cake and we sang "happy birthday" to our family.
Last night Jeff and I left the boys with my sister and we went out to dinner. I really didn't want to go out because I have not been feeling well for over a week now, but I am glad I did, because it was good to talk to Jeff about being sick and exhausted and how I was feeling and doing with that. We took Shiloh with us because she hadn't slept all day and I didn't want to leave a crabby baby with anyone. Turns out she slept the whole time we were at dinner.

The 7 year itch
Today is our 7th anniversary. I have heard people call the 7th year of marriage the 7 year itch. I'm not sure why it is called that, but I'm guessing it's because you are suppose to get really annoyed with each other. So on that note, here are a few things that annoy me about Jeff.
-He is the golden boy to all his employers, past and present.
-He is not compassionate.
-He has not made me $1,000,000.00 yet.
-He is an evil hate mongering Conservative.
-He is selfish.
-He is mean.
Then to commemorate/commiserate our 7th anniversary, we bought a bedroom set. I used to say that I hated how big our bedroom was, but now with this in there I am really glad it is the size it is.
One beastly bed.
Then just to show me that he had not gotten me enough for our anniversary, he brought these home for me.
*Disclaimer: I really don't think those things about Jeff, actual it's the opposite (except the one about him being the "golden boy", he really is). He just always has people saying some of these things to him, so it's a joke between us.

Our 6th Anniversary
First I would like to wish my husband a happy anniversary! I really am married to a wonderful man. He is a great husband and father.
Thanks to my parents who were willing to watch our boys two weekends in a row (last weekend so we could go to the Temple), we were able to go out to celebrate Friday night. We went to Azteca for dinner.
Then we were going to go to a movie, but nothing really jumped out at us that we just HAD to see. So instead we went to Lowe's and picked out some storage stuff for our garage. I know romantic, right? Oh well, it was just great to get out together without the boys tagging along.

Jeff got this book for our anniversary, I have to admit, I didn't actually go pick it out for him, we went to Borders book store and he picked it out himself. I really didn't have a chance to get out, this past week was really crazy. Jeff got me a gift certificate to a scrapbook store.
