First Day of School

Shiloh has a preschool open house on September 2nd to meet her teacher (Mrs. Sunnie) and see her classroom.

School started on September  8th for Mason and Cooper
Mason is in 5th grade this year and has Mrs. Layton for his teacher.

Cooper is in third grade and has Mrs. Nendel for his teacher.

Two cute girls needed in on the picture taking action as well.

Shiloh's first day of preschool was on September 9th.

I took this picture just before leaving the room. The look on her face was like, really mom! Get outa here so I can be with my friends, I don't need you anymore.

End of another school year

I can't believe another school year is over. I always get sad on the last day because it is another event that makes me realize how fast my kids are growing up. Here are a few pictures from the last month or so of school.

Cooper gave a presentation on the history of Gonzaga.

Cooper's class got to meet our Mayor.

Excited for the Super Bowl

Mason's Spring Orchestra Concert

Mason had his Spring Orchestra concert last night. I am so proud of what he has accomplished this year in Orchestra. He loves learning the cello and is happy to share his talent with everyone.

Mason won this award for perfect attendance for the entire year. But really, I won it for getting him there the entire year. Don't you think?

Cello progress

I thought I would compile some videos of Mason playing his cello over this school year to show how much he has grown.

Winter Extravaganza Concert-Night Two

Mason's Winter Extravaganza Concert was last night. He was one tired dude after two nights of performing!
Cooper was happy to be in the audience cheering his brother on instead of performing.

Doughnuts with Dad and Owl Pellets with Dad

Let me just say that I am very grateful that this event is "Owl pellets with DAD" and NOT "Owl pellets with MOM" Something about digging through the vomit of owls to find bones just doesn't seem appealing to me. Mason and Jeff loved it though and I am glad they get to do these kids of projects together as a team.

Future member of the Piano Guys

Jeff usually watches some fun videos with the boys before tucking them into bed each night. Mason and Cooper often want to watch one of the videos from the Piano Guys. Mason has decided to follow in the footsteps of the Piano Guys by playing the Cello. It is so wonderful that our school district allows the elementary kids to begin playing an instrument in fourth grade.

If you are unfamiliar withe the Piano Guys, watch this video bellow:

First Day of School

Oh where or where has the time gone!

This big guy is in fourth grade. His teacher is Mrs. Pryor and his best friend Brennen is in his class this year. Mason is really excited about that.
This sweet kid is in second grade. His teacher is Mrs. VanderMeer. He also has a few friends in his class, Tyler and Alex.
Are the girls sad to see them go? or happy to have seven hours alone with mom?

These swings are the girls favorite thing on the playground at the school.

Last day of school

Mason and Cooper were blessed to have two of the BEST teachers this past year. I don't know how anyone will compare next year. I am sad to see this year come to an end.
Mason with his teacher, Mrs. Jones

Cooper with his teacher, Mrs. Drouin (pronounced Drew-in)

On the last day of school they had a birthday party for the six kids who would be having birthdays over the summer.

These two pictures are from the World Cup Soccer Tournament that Prairie View does every four years. The above picture is Mason's 3rd grade class and the bottom one is Cooper's 1st grade class.
