Easter

A few days before Easter, a friend in our ward (congregation) organized an Easter egg hunt in our local park. We had a ton of kids there and even a ton more eggs. All the kids had a great time and went away very happy with their loot.

Then Easter morning each of the kids got a few things in their baskets and there were eggs hidden around the house and in the backyard.

We were able to have Jeff's parents over for dinner that night. I am very thankful for everything they do for us! I am even more thankful for my Savior, for his atoning sacrifice for me, so I can be resurrected and live with him and my Father again!

Easter

The Easter bunny was pretty good to our kids this year.

 Mason and Cooper's baskets
 Shiloh and Kinley's baskets
Trying to figure out what to do with all those colorful eggs all over the yard.
 Ohhhh it makes noise.
 And there is something inside.

Here is a video of them all hunting eggs. Please excuse the messy backyard/patio area. It is currently under construction. Pics of the final project to come once we are finished.

Easter

We had a great Easter this year. As always the Eater bunny was good to the kids. They each got a toy for outside and the Easter bunny hid eggs throughout our house.
We had Easter dinner with the Borders side of the family at the care center Jeff's grandma is at right now.

Dressed up for church. I am so thankful for the real reason for this day. I am grateful to my Savior for his atoning sacrifice and resurrection and the promise that that brings that we will all rise again.

Easter 2010

Our Easter festivities began on Saturday morning with Pancakes with the Easter bunny at our local grange.
Waiting for our pancakes

Shiloh was not very happy to see the bunny. Mason was excited because he wanted to say "thank you" to him/her for all the presents he has received for Easter over the years.

Can you see Shiloh all snuggled up to me? Yup, this is what she did the rest of our time at the grange.

Saturday afternoon we colored Eater eggs with the Snell family.

Saturday night the boys left the Eater bunny this note. Mason insisted on it being hung on the edge of the table so the bunny could see it. They also left a carrot and water for the bunny to munch on.

Sunday morning they found this. They got at Beyblade arena and two beyblades to battle with. Apparently this is the new craze!

Shiloh got a whole Easter outfit. A dress, sweater, tights, and shoes.

The Easter bunny also hid eggs for them to find.
After finding her first one, she decided that was good enough for her. Time to eat the candy.
It took a little coaxing, but she finally got back into in and found a few more.
Cooper's loot.

Later in the morning, Grandpa and Grandma Borders came over to give the kids Easter baskets.
