Tri-Cities trip- Columbia River Temple

We went to the Ti-Cities for my step sister's daughter, Katelyn's baptism. We arrived a bit early to the building where the baptism was, which is right next to the Columbia River Temple. We walked around the grounds for a bit and tried to get some pictures of the kids together. As you can see, that didn't go so well, but it was great to spend some time as a family at on of the Lord's houses. What a beautiful house it is!

June Happenings

Lovin' the messy hair

Caught her sleeping in another funny position. This time at the foot of her bed.

We are in trouble. She can almost open doors. Yikes! Time to start locking the bathroom door if I ever have a change of getting 2 minutes of quiet, uninterpreted time again.
What do you do when you want your dad to come home ASAP? Make cookies for him then send him a pic with the caption, "Looks what's waiting for you at home".
Isn't she just the cutest?

This video was taken on June 23rd. Check out that cutie pie and her drool!

On our way to church. I am so thankful to have a place I can go each week to worship my Savior and to feel of God's love for me. I am thankful for the time I have each Sunday to slow down, enjoy my family, and have some quiet time to feel the promptings of the Spirit.

Last day of school

Mason and Cooper were blessed to have two of the BEST teachers this past year. I don't know how anyone will compare next year. I am sad to see this year come to an end.
Mason with his teacher, Mrs. Jones

Cooper with his teacher, Mrs. Drouin (pronounced Drew-in)

On the last day of school they had a birthday party for the six kids who would be having birthdays over the summer.

 Singing "Happy Birthday"

These two pictures are from the World Cup Soccer Tournament that Prairie View does every four years. The above picture is Mason's 3rd grade class and the bottom one is Cooper's 1st grade class.

May happenings

Shiloh is really into Frozen right now, just like all other little girls. This video is of her singing her favorite song. The video itself isn't all that great, but you can still hear her just fine. (She didn't want to be on camera).

We've had some fun in the sprinklers!

We catch this girl sleeping in some very weird positions. This time she was sleeping sideways in her bed.
Shiloh and Kinley's favorite thing to do is swing, which I love because it was my favorite thing to do as a kid too.

My kitchen helpers making pizza dough with me.
Or maybe they were eating pizza dough, either way, they are super cute.
The only one of our toddlers to keep sunglasses on for extended periods of time.
Cooper wrote a really cute story about a secret door on their cousins fence.
Ahhhh Mason has been swallowed up by the pea gravel!

Oh to be a kid again.

Cooper's field trip to Finch Arboretum

The whole first grade at Cooper's school took a field trip to finch arboretum today. I was able to go with Cooper and man am I tired! It is amazing what walking around with first graders for 4 hours in the sun can do to you! Here are a few pictures of the day. I wasn't able to get very many though. (Sorry) We had a great day exploring nature, finding rocks, snails, ducks, different leaves, sticks, etc.

Cub Scout field trip

As a Wolf den, we were able to go to the fish hatchery yesterday. A member of our ward works there, so he was able to give us a personal tour and help us pass off our fishing electives. The boys were able to cast off into the river that runs through the hatchery.
