Pinewood Derby

Last night was the Pinewood Derby for our cub scouts. This was Mason's first year, so we really didn't know what to expect, or how to make a car for that matter.
Mason's car.
This is about half of all the cars that raced.

Sadly, Mason's car didn't win any races. It came in 3rd and 4th mainly. He was sad about it but when we told him he was going to have many years of making and perfecting his car, he cheered up a bit.

February Happenings

Here is a look at a few things we did in February:

Apparently she thinks markers are lipstick.

I find pictures like this one above on our cameras all the time. I am so glad Jeff thinks to take pictures of the kids because I rarely do.

See this pink blanket? That is MY pink blanket that MY sister Julia made for me one year when she drew my name in our family Christmas exchange. THAT blanket is everyone's favorite in our house. It is the perfect size and thickness. The only time I get MY blanket is when all the kids are in bed. Thank goodness they go to bed two hours before me or I'd never get to use MY blanket.

Jeff and Bill taught Shiloh how to be a sniper.

Isn't she so cute?

These videos are of Shiloh, sharing her wisdom.

I took all four kids to Mobius by myself on the 17th (day off from school).

Monster Jam

Jeff, Mason, and Cooper went to Monster Jam with Bill, Julia, and their three boys. They said it was fun, but loud.

Cooper's very sepcial loose tooth

Cooper lost a tooth as school yesterday during a lock down drill. He wrote a note to the tooth fairy explaining how special it was, so he got an extra 50 cents.

Anniversary Sledding

What better way to spend the morning of our 11th Anniversary than sledding with the kids! Mason and Cooper loved it, Shiloh not so much, and Kinley I am not sure if she liked it or just tolerated it because she had to.

January Happenings

 Meet Red Ninja Borders.

All dressed up and ready to go to church

The newest fire recruit

The boys have been busy making new creations out of the K'nex they got for Christmas.

Someone loves her big brother

Cooper had a workshop with Dads day at school. They made a cute snowman together.

Shiloh has been getting a lot of practice in at being a mommy. Messy hair, staying in her pjs all day, nursing a baby constantly, and watching tv.

Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam!

Now that Shiloh is three and it's a new year, she gets to attend primary with her brothers. Mason is in senior primary, so she won't see him much, but Cooper is in junior primary with her. She did really well and was super excited to be a big like her brothers.

Mason and Cooper got these spiffy new suits for Christmas from us and G&G Meador

December Happenings

Someone was very ready for Christmas to come!

I have been very blessed to be able to help out with an art project once a month in both Mason and Cooper's classrooms. This month, in Cooper's class, we made cute snowmen. They had so many small pieces to cut out, so we had them dress up one person in their family has a snowman (on the picture of their family that is tapped to their desks), so they wouldn't misplace any pieces. Cooper picked me! Aren't I lucky?

Love her!

Little miss naughty was caught more than once taking Christmas bulbs and other ornaments off the tree.

These two do have their own separate beds, but you would you would think they don't know that.

Her hair is finally growing enough to play with in the bath!
