May happenings

Shiloh is really into Frozen right now, just like all other little girls. This video is of her singing her favorite song. The video itself isn't all that great, but you can still hear her just fine. (She didn't want to be on camera).

We've had some fun in the sprinklers!

We catch this girl sleeping in some very weird positions. This time she was sleeping sideways in her bed.
Shiloh and Kinley's favorite thing to do is swing, which I love because it was my favorite thing to do as a kid too.

My kitchen helpers making pizza dough with me.
Or maybe they were eating pizza dough, either way, they are super cute.
The only one of our toddlers to keep sunglasses on for extended periods of time.
Cooper wrote a really cute story about a secret door on their cousins fence.
Ahhhh Mason has been swallowed up by the pea gravel!

Oh to be a kid again.

Cooper's field trip to Finch Arboretum

The whole first grade at Cooper's school took a field trip to finch arboretum today. I was able to go with Cooper and man am I tired! It is amazing what walking around with first graders for 4 hours in the sun can do to you! Here are a few pictures of the day. I wasn't able to get very many though. (Sorry) We had a great day exploring nature, finding rocks, snails, ducks, different leaves, sticks, etc.

Cub Scout field trip

As a Wolf den, we were able to go to the fish hatchery yesterday. A member of our ward works there, so he was able to give us a personal tour and help us pass off our fishing electives. The boys were able to cast off into the river that runs through the hatchery.

Shiloh's first shiner

Shiloh received her first shiner when she tried to get off our neighbors swing before it came to a stop.

Easter

The Easter bunny was pretty good to our kids this year.

 Mason and Cooper's baskets
 Shiloh and Kinley's baskets
Trying to figure out what to do with all those colorful eggs all over the yard.
 Ohhhh it makes noise.
 And there is something inside.

Here is a video of them all hunting eggs. Please excuse the messy backyard/patio area. It is currently under construction. Pics of the final project to come once we are finished.

MOMMA

Last night was MOMMA (Moms of Magnificently Marvelous Artists).

This is an event at the boys' school where moms come and walk around an art show where all the art is a selected piece of art of your child's. The art can be bought for a small price. All the money goes to help support the art program at the school.

The is the second year they have put on this event. It has taken the place of muffins with mom. I do find it funny that the moms yearly event involves paying for something, while the dads get to come and eat something.

Blue and Gold Banquet

Last night was the Blue and Gold Banquet for scouts. Our ward's tradition is for the moms and sons to make a cake together. There are some awards handed out for the best scout themed cake, best yearly banquet themed cake, most colorful cake, tastiest cake, and something else.

Here is the cake Mason and I made together. He won best cub scout themed cake. He was SO excited. I wish I had my camera ready to get his reaction. It was great.

During the banquet all the cub scouts did a Mexican themed dance (the theme this year was Mexican Fiesta).

Mason earned his Wolf badge and 6 arrow points at the banquet. We are so proud of all his accomplishments in cub scouts!
When a cub scout earns a big award, they give a pin to their moms as a "thank you" for all their hard work in helping the scout earn the award. Here is Mason pinning my pin on me.

Kinsington

With all these pictures taken of Kinley in one day (by Jeff, just so you know), you'd think her other siblings don't matter or don't exist.

I assure you, we do love them and they do matter to us, but she is just so stinkin' cute!
