On Shiloh's birthday we went out to dinner. Her choice was Red Robin. Afterward, we came home and she opened a few gifts. Then on Friday the 22 she had a little party with her friends. For her party with friends, we made homemade pizzas (that was busy) and ate cupcakes and ice cream for dessert.

Happy 4th Birthday Shiloh!
Today is Shiloh's birthday. She is very much loved in our family. When I found out we were having a girl, I was scared. I didn't know what to do with a girl. As these four years have passed, I couldn't imagine life without her. She is kind, thoughtful, stubborn (like me), and mothering to Kinley (and the boys if they let her). She has filled a whole in our hearts that we didn't know what there.

Halloween
This year, we didn't get around to doing all the fun fall festivities that we normally do. We didn't go to greenbluff as a family, nor did we carve pumpkins. Lame, I know. We'll do better next year.
As for trick or treating, we did do that! We had a ninja turtle, a ninja, Elsa (from Frozen), and a monkey. The cute little monkey went trick or treating with us around our block, then we went back home with Dad to pass out candy. The others and I continued on with our family friends, the Franks. Surprisingly enough, the big boys were ready to head back home before Shiloh or the Frank twins.

Preschool Activities
This year, for preschool, I am getting together with three other moms that I go to church with. We are sharing in the responsibility to teach and help out. We are meeting once a week. Each week one mom teaches, another helps out, and the other two have those two hours off. It is working out really well and I love working it these three other moms. They are great moms and great friends to me.
Here are a few things Shiloh did in October for preschool.
We took a field trip to green bluff with friends.
Learning all about apples.
Train ride through the orchard to pick an apple.
Picking a pumpkin to take home.
We learned about rainbows.
Preschool Halloween party.
For the month of September and October, two different, but equally awesome ladies in our ward coached a preschool soccer team once a week at the park by our house. Shiloh had a great time and wishes we could still do it even though it is 15 degrees outside right now.

October happenings
Just a post full of pictures of my super cute kids. Love them. Love them all to pieces.
Shiloh, Kinley, Ashlyne, and Anyka at Grandma Borders' house taking care of the cat while Papa and Grandma were on a trip and Jeff and the boys were at doughnuts with dad and owl pellets with dad.
Fort building is a common pass time in our house, especially as the weather gets cold.
Selfies from a two year old or maybe an almost four year old. It's hard to tell...
I love to hear little ones as they try to sound out words, especially when those words are the names of their cousins whom they love so much!

Doughnuts with Dad and Owl Pellets with Dad
Let me just say that I am very grateful that this event is "Owl pellets with DAD" and NOT "Owl pellets with MOM" Something about digging through the vomit of owls to find bones just doesn't seem appealing to me. Mason and Jeff loved it though and I am glad they get to do these kids of projects together as a team.
