On June 11th, Jeff was called out to a fire just south of our city. I believe this was the first one he was on of the season, but not the first one. They are predicting a busy fire season since we had a very mild winter and have heated up quickly already this summer. We had a few days over 100 degrees this weekend and this week as well as last week will be in the 90's every day. Usually it doesn't get this hot until mid July into August.

Father's Day
I'd say Jeff was pretty spoiled on Father's day (kidding). Although, with it being the day after my dad and step-mom's wedding anniversary party, he spoiled me by letting me sleep in (as much as you can anyway with 9am church). That afternoon we had a grad party to go to for Jeff's cousin, so we didn't even eat dinner at home. Seriously, best. Father's. day. ever. Right, Jeff?

End of another school year
I can't believe another school year is over. I always get sad on the last day because it is another event that makes me realize how fast my kids are growing up. Here are a few pictures from the last month or so of school.
Cooper gave a presentation on the history of Gonzaga.
Cooper's class got to meet our Mayor.
Excited for the Super Bowl

Shiloh's preschool graduation
Yesterday we had a small graduation ceremony for Shiloh and her friends that she did preschool with this year. Before handing them their certificates they got to hear "all about me" for each of the girls. They were all so cute and funny. Here is Shiloh's:
This person is 4 years old. Her favorite thing to do at preschool is eat snacks. At home she loves to play with her dollies. In 20 years she will probably be like 5 years old. She does not ever want to get married but she wants to have 4 kids. They will live in her family's house forever. They will eat snacks everyday. Like lots of chex mix. When she grows up she will be a ballerina. She will make $15 doing this. In her free time she will dance, dance, and dance.

May Happenings
I got these yummy beauties from my father-in-law for Mother's Day.
I think she fell asleep praying...
Shiloh caught a nasty stomach bug and was sick for two weeks!
Yummy goodness from my friend, Emily
Jeff has been telling me about the Discovery Park in the Valley for awhile now. He has had several people at work tell him how cool it is, so we finally made it out there. The kids had a ton of fun.

Mason's Spring Orchestra Concert
Mason had his Spring Orchestra concert last night. I am so proud of what he has accomplished this year in Orchestra. He loves learning the cello and is happy to share his talent with everyone.
Mason won this award for perfect attendance for the entire year. But really, I won it for getting him there the entire year. Don't you think?

April Happenings
Look at this happy girl. Her hair is long enough to braid!
Yup, hail on April fools day.
And snow on the first day of spring break, April 6th
The last day of spring break (Friday the 10th) we took the kids to Jump Sky High. It was the first time being there for all of us, except Mason.
On Saturday the 11th Mason and I went out to dinner together to celebrate taking first and second in our family's NCAA bracket. I won't tell you who took first place, but it was NOT this cutie in the picture.
